The original technology is very difficult

The ink-free water-jet printing technology has many advantages. However, since the previous water-chromic reproducible printing paper is based on a single water-chromic dye system, it is often required when a new color of reproducible paper is required. Among them, development of black water-chromic dyes is particularly difficult. In addition, the short retention time of the writing and the water resistance of the substrate are also technical bottlenecks restricting the practical application of the technology.

“Because most of the acid-chromic dyes and developers used have been industrially produced, they can be purchased directly, eliminating the complicated synthesis process and greatly reducing the preparation cost of water-chromic rewritable paper.” In particular, by purchasing a commercially available black dye, the long-awaited black water jet print display can be realized very simply.

The new black water-chromic reproducible paper, the black color and color purity obtained by water jet printing is very high, basically comparable to the existing black inkjet printing, the writing retention time can be several months to six months. .
